Black Panther’s box office reign isn’t going to let up just yet. The blockbuster landed at No. 1 in the domestic box office for the fourth straight weekend, pulling in an additional $41.7 million, Deadline reports .

The film recently
crossed the $1 billion mark worldwide. Black Panther is the first February release to hold strong for four weeks, and it’s the second highest-grossing MCU film of all time behind The Avengers .

The Ava DuVernay-directed A Wrinkle in Time , another Disney film, pulled in $34 million in its opening weekend. The fantasy film, based on the beloved 1962 Madeleine L’Engle novel of the same name, made history before its release for being the first film with a $100 million budget to be directed by a black woman.

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler recently penned
a heartfelt letter to DuVernay , calling her one of his heroes.

Black Panther will most likely have slipped from the top spot by the time Avengers: Infinity War takes over next month, but even writer Mark Millar—who worked on Avengers and Civil War comic storylines—thinks the groundbreaking ticket sales will still be ahead of the game. “I think Black Panther is going to outgross [sic] Avengers: Infinity War ,” he tweeted. “I can feel it in my BONES.”
